The 1920+ is so that you can Google the game without being redirected to a Wikipedia page about the iron harvest, which is an annual harvest of unexploded munitions leftover since both World Wars in France and Belgium. It rarely feels like a tutorial though, more of just a practical way to teach you things. Last month, we got our first good look at the incoming steampunk RTS mech game, Iron Harvest 1920+. It teaches you the basics of how to move around the map and take on enemies, then introduces how to work with other units and exploit enemy weaknesses. The single player mode also did a great job of easing you into how the game works when we went hands on with it. Each faction will have seven missions each to their story. It’s kind of like the race to the moon but it’s not the moon they’re after, it’s something even more precious. There’s very clear good and bad guys in the game, but there’s a nice level of mystery to the story too. Iron Harvests mech-based strategy can burn a little slow, but the payoff is. The game comes with a single player mode that allows you to play through a story of each of the factions. Iron Harvest is rated Strong after being reviewed by 54 critics.
